Anabolic resistance is not a locked door; it is a higher doorstep. You can still step over it, you just have to lift your foot higher at every meal.

Translating the science into habits does not require a food scale at every meal. It requires a few reliable patterns.

Breakfast is the weak link

For most people over 40, breakfast is the meal that quietly sabotages muscle. Toast, cereal, fruit, and coffee deliver almost no leucine, leaving a long overnight-to-noon stretch with the muscle-building switch stuck off.
